Forza Horizon 3 Continues to Look Incredible in New Footage

  • Microsoft has released new footage with the upcoming Xbox One and PC racing game Forza Horizon 3 and yes it looks spectacular. The video, shot at Gamescom soon, comes from your Xbox UK YouTube channel and showcases some new sequences and races on the Australia-set racer.
Creative director Ralph Fulton from developer Playground Games discusses the experience at length with Xbox UK's Graeme Boyd. Among other activities, Fulton discusses how Playground sent a team on the Australian outback to capture sky footage. The Forza Horizon 4 Credits result is which the sky you see within the game is real Australian sky, accurately synced up together with the time of day. The way clouds look is specially great when playing about the HDR-supported Xbox One S, based on Fulton.
Playground spent multiple months inside outback (not every at once, however) capturing the footage, Fulton said. You probably have heard that this Australian outback is loaded with deadly creatures, including spiders. Fulton said the cameras employed to capture the footage had many nooks and crannies that spiders liked to crawl into, so someone were required to clean out the eight-legged creatures every single day. Yikes.
