You can now customise your farm in Fortnite

  • Editor's Note: fortnite materials article erroneously stated that gamers on Switch may use their Epic account if they originally played on PS4. This really isn't the case and has been composed in error, and the article has since been upgraded. IGN regrets the mistake.

IGN is typically a very reliable source on gambling news and I was as excited as another Fortnite fan by this shift. Unfortunately, it had been too good to be true.

Fortnite's free V-bucks are half-off right now, even if that's a small contradiction in terms. How can free V-Bucks be off half? Isn't zero divided by two still zero? Yes, on a technical level, that is correct.

But the sphere of V-buck farming is somewhat absurd to start with, and therefore we're going to throw this basic notion out the window. The ability to acquire totally free V-bucks by purchasing Fortnite: Save World is half off right now, down from $39.99 for $19.99 for the normal edition.

Here is the gist of what I mean here. Fortnite: Battle Royale, that's the version of Fortnite that most everyone is playing, does not have any real means to receive totally free V-Bucks. The only way to get V-bucks given to you in-game would be to buy the battle pass and rate this up. And if you did get marginally more V-bucks than you put in by doing this, it's not much.
